Tatum's 1st Grade Year

I am so grateful that I got to be Tatum's 1st grade teacher. We had such a fun year. I was able to be with her for all the special activities. She is a joy to teach because she is so smart, helpful, and a good students. She made all As all year.

Tatum enjoyed being a cheerleader. October. Fall Fest at church with Miss Kelly. She decorated a pumpkin as a lady bug for a contest. She painted it and glued on the eyes and antennas.

We watched a house move.
The Easter Party. She decorated eggs for a contest. She made a pig, corn on the cob, and a butterfly. Tatum tossed a boiled egg to her partner and ran the spoon race.
Our Animal Unit.
Our Final Field Trip to the Zoo. Tatum put an ice pack on her back because apparently she takes after her mother or just got used to the below frost level temperatures in my classroom.

Our Celebration of Other Countries. Tatum dressed up as someone from Tahiti. She demonstrated the hula for us.

Our Cinco de Mayo Celebration. Tatum decorated maracas, played pin the flower on the cactus, and broke a pinata.
