First Grade Field Day

My class had a great field day. They blew gigantic bubbles, tried to ring cokes, shot water guns, played potato hockey, and raced to pop balloons.

The Cold Toes Game was chilling success. It was hard for them to stay in the pool and get marbles with their feet because we put ice in the pool with the water.

The Water Balloon Toss was a huge hit. They didn't catch many balloons, but it was still a blast.

They loved the musical chairs with shaving cream. It was a fabulously messy game. My class seemed to be the only one that was covered in shaving cream. I had them lie in the grass and poured buckets of water on them to clean them off. They loved that. I'm sure their moms appreciated it, too.
