My creative and computer savvy sister helped me make my blog. We learned several things from the process. 1. Even though I am almost 10 years older, she thinks she knows more and tries to boss me. 2. I have a rounder (Cushingoid face), less hair but more natural color, and we have the same color eyes.
3. You can't take a perfect picture by holding the camera out in front of you and snapping it. In the best shot Tatum is making bunny ears on us. 4. Lisa is a perfectionist and I am more easy going than I thought. 5. It takes the three (mom, too) of us to make this blog but only one to make Lisa's blog.We enjoyed spending time with my nephews, Ethan and Austin. They brought us Christmas presents from under the tree. Unfortunately, for us, they were addressed to other people. It's a good thing it is the thought that counts.
Miracles do happen! Thursday Phil, Sr. was working by himself at the wine shop when he passed out. He was cleaning up his gash when a doctor walked in and caught him passing out again. He called an ambulance and they had to life flight him to the heart hospital in Austin. His pulse was at 20 several times. The doctors found out that a pain in his neck caused his heart to stop beating. They put in a pace maker the next day. We were grateful we got to meet them at Central Market before they headed back to the hill country. He looks great and is in good spirits. We will catch up again with them after Christmas.
