Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is one of my favorite family times because we have so many fun traditions. I am grateful I got to spend it with my parents and sister's family. Eric and Lisa were the perfect hosts.

My mom read Twas the Night Before Christmas and we passed a present each time she read the word and. The first one to say that they got their own gift got to open it. By every one's enthusiasm you would think we opened our biggest gift but it was just our special Christmas Eve PJ's.

We played Tripoly, the Eating Game (the board game kind not the actually eating kind), and Secret Santa. My family loves to play games. Even the little boys played. Uncle Russ had more help than he ever dreamed of.

We went to the park and let he kids take run and play football. We got some great family pictures, too.

More things I've learned about my baby sister this holiday season. 1. She likes to cook and is good at it. She is thoughtful and generous. She made me gluten free food (Eric even made me special sausage balls.) 2. She is crafty and made me a cute Christmas apron. 3. She is competitive and wouldn't take pictures with my camera so her blog would look better (See Soak It ALL In blog). 4. She loves her dog but finds mine annoying. 5. She is still the baby of the family and likes to have the best toy. The one on the left is really Tatum's. The one on the right is a necklace from me and it says, "Ethan & Austin, Soak It All In."
