Our Plant Unit

This week my class talked about plants.

We observed how a celery takes in the water thanks to food coloring.

They got a pinch of split peas and a scoop of lima beans to count. Then they made a picture with them.

They took a seed apart and labeled the 3 parts of a plant. They were amazed when they found the baby plant.

They took the seeds out of fruits and vegetables and counted them. The tomato was rather difficult.
