Today the kindergarten and first grade classes celebrated our 100th day of school. Russ got to spend the day with Tatum. They did 100 exercises, made 100 hand prints, measured 100 teaspoons of beans, etc... It was lots of fun for teachers, parents, and students.

They decorated shirts with 100 fingerprints and hats with the number 100. They made necklaces out of 100 Fruit Loops. I think more kids got home with just strings then with any cereal on them.

The parachute number scramble was a favorite. They counted by 10s to 100 and then tried to get the most numbers. The winner of the day picked up 36. Just think, he didn't even have to push or grab to win.
No one was able to bounce a ball or hula hoop 100 times. They sure had fun trying though. There is always next year.

The daughter of the princess let her dad trace her foot for the next project. Maybe she cut it out herself. They went outside to make a trail with them to see how far 100 footprints would go. It was freezing outside so they were glad to get back inside.

Who knew that in 100 seconds small children could blow a cotton ball all the way across a basketball court and back. This challenge was a huge hit.
