This week we learned about animals in 1st grade. We read about elephants in our Science book so Tatum made an elephant out of a plate. Next week we go to the zoo to see the animals up close.
The class made binoculars and decorated safari vests and animal masks. We had giraffes (because they are the tallest), army men (b/c daddy used to be in the army), lions (b/c they always catch everything), etc.... It was a fun filled week with furry and feathery friends.
