Today we went to the zoo for our fourth and final field trip. It was a lot of fun. We saw a turkey fighting with a peacock. The most important thing Tatum learned at the zoo was that you don't want to get behind a lion when he turns his back to you, because he is about to spray you. She witnessed this fact first hand.

Russell and Trent got to come with us to the zoo because they had an appointment at the doctor today. My little boys enjoyed being with a big boy. We found out that camels really like carrots.
Tatum, Trent, and Russell were walking with a tiger and it turned around and stared at them straight into their eyes (according to Tatum).

The class enjoyed the alligator show. Tatum and her friends put ice packs on themselves because they started getting hot. The kids thought it was hilarious that the guy told them that if there was ever an alligator in their yard to pull it by the tail and put it in their neighbor's yard. Tatum learned that if a girl alligator has a baby you don't want to get too close. She thought all the information was interesting. She informed me that she listened really well, except for the part when she was talking.
