Disney World Fun

Seven of us loaded up the car and left my mom's house at 4am to drive the seven hours to pick up Aja. Then the eight of us drove another twelve hours to Disney. We played games, watched Christmas movies, listened to Christmas songs, and played Bingo for prizes.

We were glad that my mother and Aja were able to come with us to Disney.

We loved the French Quarter. Everything was convenient.
The food was delicious. All the parks and parks had yummy gluten free food.
We enjoyed seeing the towel animals each day when we got back to our rooms.
Taylor and Tatum braved the cold water to try the pool.

My mom counted the steps we took each day-16,000 t0 28,000. We soaked our tired feet in the hot tub.Mom got the high score on Buzz Lightyear's ride.
At first, my mom explained to each character that she was getting pictures for her other grandchildren.By the end, it was all for her.
Mom was confused as to why all these kids and adults had on blue shirts with an orange beak. She couldn't understand why so many people liked Donald Duck. After I explained that it was Perry the Platypus, she got to meet Phineas and Ferb.
Even though the ride she hated the most involved Stitch, she took a picture with him. Lilo-who kissed her & Stitch-who licked her.
It is a good thing she didn't know who would pop out of this gift.
Tatum's favorite character was Dale.
Tatum loved tasting the different Coke flavors at Epcot.

Tatum was a really good driver on the Tomorrow Land Speedway. She loved it.
Tatum's favorite ride was Space Mountain at Magic Kingdom. Even Grandma and I rode it twice.
Trevor enjoyed everything at Disney. He was willing to try and do anything. All the boys liked riding Mount Everest at Animal Kingdom.
Trent was all about the thrill rides at Disney. Fantasy Land wasn't his idea of thrill rides.

I was able to snap a picture on Peter Pan's Flight.
My mom wasn't impressed with Trent's driving skills. It's a good thing he is better outside of the track.
Since Trent wouldn't take a picture with a character, I went back to one I already had.
His favorite ride was the Rockin Roller Coast at MGM.Trent, Taylor and Aja were chosen to participate in a backlot tour show/film. Trent was in a control room when water rushes in on him.
Taylor was on deck when enemy planes started shooting.

Taylor had a fantastic time at Disney. She loved the shows, characters, rides, etc....

I think Disney might be her ideal job location.
She tried out for American Idol by singing an Ariel song. She loved Ariel the last time she was at Disney.
The judges told her they were looking for someone to sing country and asked her to sing a country song. She told them she doesn't sing country. They told her that she will be a wonderful Disney princess.
Taylor as a 17 year old reminded me of Taylor as a four year old.
Phineas and Ferb begged Taylor to sing for them. They kept signing-just a little song. She politely refused.
She was able to get her coloring page up as the Picture of the Day for the French Quarter.
Taylor's favorite ride was soaring at Epcot, although this picture is of Dumbo.

We decided at the last minute to go to Mickey's Christmas Party from 8pm-1am. We were so glad we went. It was so much fun. We rode rides over and over again w/o any lines, watched Christmas shows, met some Disney princesses, and enjoyed hot cocoa and cookies. I had the best cookie I have ever eaten-OMG It's Gluten Free butterscotch.
We had a great time at Disney!
