Long Island

I enjoyed my conference in Oceanside, NY. I stayed at an old convent. It did not have air conditioning. I am glad that I decided to stay anyway and not take the first flight back home.

One night after the conference was finished, we were getting ready to watch "Diary of a Mad Black Woman," and a bag of popcorn made a little too much smoke. We decided to make it into a photo op.We played on Long Island-Long Beach, & Jones Beach. The beaches were much more crowded than in Florida, Alabama, and Texas.
There were trashcans everywhere.

The waves were huge!
