Louise

We are sad to say goodbye to Louise. She died, January 24, the morning she was leaving to go with her daughter and son in law to Hilton Head.

Louise was double family. She was the sister of Phil's mother, Pauline. Since Phil's mom died when he was three, Louise helped raise Phil. Then, when she was in her seventies, she married Phil's father, Pop. This is a picture of Phil and Louise's daughter, Sharon.
I met Louise when I was 15. I remember when Pop died a short time later, she sobbed in my arms and told me that it wasn't fair that she had outlived two husbands. That is the only time I ever saw her upset. She was a very lively and happy person. She was full of energy and always on the go.
Even though she lived in Dallas, she came to important events in our lives. This is Russell's graduation from UT.
She was a wonderful lady. She was generous, lively, godly, kind, and happy. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. We enjoyed celebrating her 90th birthday with her three years ago. She had many friends of all ages. She was a pleasure to be around.
