Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith Christmas Concert

I was so excited to see Amy Grant and Michael W. Smith at their Christmas Concert!  

I bought tickets as soon as they went on sale.  We got second row seats, which I was ecstatic about.  When we got there, we were actually in the orchestra pit, since they were on the stage  Also, there was no first row.  I could touch the stage from our seats.

Michael W. Smith gave a Christmas CD for each ticket we had.  Since we had two tickets, we got both his CDs.  

Some of the songs Michael sang:   Jingle Bells, Agnus Dei, and 

Happy Holidays.

 Amy sang: Breath of Heaven, Tennessee Christmas, I'll be Home for Christmas, I Need a Silent Night, Emmanuel, Love Has Come, Heirlooms, Jingle Bells (her fast version).  

President George W. Bush and Barbara were at the concert, too.

Tatum loved the orchestra throwing snowballs at everyone.

Amy is the queen of hula hooping.  Not sure if she moved so much because she was so cold.

 

 It was in the 50s at the outdoor concert.  I loved it, but most people had blankets and gloves.  Amy had a blanket from her tour bus.

After intermission, they came out in coats and scarves.

 They ended the concert with Friends are Friends Forever.

It was a wonderful concert!
