Our Time in Hollywood, Bellaire, and Beverly Hills

Hollywood
The Hollywood sign has 50 ft. letters.
Hollywood Boulevard
 
We ate at 25 Degrees in the Roosevelt Hotel.
A magician was showing another one a new trick.
The Walk of Fame has over 2,500 star's names engraved on Hollywood Blvd.
The most important STAR

 The Dolby Theatre is where they hold the Academy Awards.
 

 
 
Warner Brothers houses the giant Oscars.
 

The Paramount Studios Oscars.
The studios can buy an Oscar for $1. 
Oscars cost $500-$900 to make because they are dipped in 24 caret gold.

We saw the Reagan's estate, the house Whitney Houston used to live in before she died, and Doris Day's home.

The Chinese theatre on Hollywood Blvd has the biggest IMAX theatre in the country.  Hercules premiered there the day before we got there.


There are nearly 200 handprints and footprints of movie stars there.
