Ethan, Austin, and Lauren came to visit. The first thing Lauren did was to pick up Tallie.
Tatum and I took them to the Downtown Aquarium.
Austin liked the sea horses. My grandparents used to have sea horses in a fish tank at their house. I used to love watching them. (My mother just told me they didn't have sea horses, so I called my Grandma. She said they had a fake one in the tank with live fish. It only took 40 years to find that out.)
The kids fed the sting rays fish.
They had a great time doing it until one zealous sting ray soaked Ethan, Lauren, and Tatum.
Lauren was the only one brave enough to go back and pet them after the soaking.
Ethan found his own sea horse.
Austin thought that the ferris wheel was a roller coaster.
Their favorite ride was one that went up and down.
Tatum's favorite thing was to play with her shark and feed it leaves.
We had a great time at the aquarium!
Austin got into the city vibe by wearing his gold jewelry he got from a vending machine.
We went to the Movie Tavern to watch Smurfs 2.
The pool was a big hit, too. I think Trent got more exercise than at his football practice.
It was great to have the kids here!
