We spent most of July and August painting our house. We painted 45 door frames, 13 window frames, 23 doors, 2 pocket doors, 3 closet doors with slats, 3 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, 2 benches, the living room, kitchen, stairs, banister, and hallways.
As soon as we put new carpet in the bedrooms, the study bath room kept going and flooded our bedroom, closet, the study, and our stairs closet. We got almost two tanks of water out of it.

We had quite a crew-my seventy year old mother who fell over a speed bump in an HEB parking lot on the way to the house and skinned her nose and hurt her arm
She still managed to use the roller to paint.
My11 year old daughter did the edging but didn't get in a picture.
My dad did too much to mention in this short space.
He even put on all our license plates.
He, too, got a battle scar from the experience. He cut his arm when he fell on a door thresh hold.
The boys spent most of their time at Ken's house playing games, working out at Reds, swimming, and throwing, bouncing, and kicking the ball.
They did do a little work, though.
Although, Taylor didn't help paint, she was there enough for Russ to back into her car.
Everyone was tuckered out by the time we finished.
The kids may even be looking forward to starting school.
