Taylor and I drove to Dallas, so that she could audition for Disney's Tinkerbell.

We had a great time staying at the Hilton and eating at Chamberlains.
Sixty girls tried out.  There were professional dancers and  women with  resumes and professional head shots.  Some had flown in from Arizona and others had driven from Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Louisiana.  I heard Beauty and the Beast music and realized they were having to dance.  I felt guilty for not making Taylor take dance.  When the music stopped.  Everyone seemed to come out of the room.  Everyone, but Taylor.  I peeked my head in the room and she waved at me.  Fifty-two had been cut in the first cut.  Two more were cut.  Last, she had to dress up as Tinkerbell in the wig and do a scene from the movie.  They took film and pictures of her.
We were thrilled when Taylor found out she will be Tinkerbell in Florida this fall.

We are proud of you, Taylor!
