Our 20th Anniversary!

Russ and I met on a school trip when I was a freshman and he was a senior. I was 15 and he was 17. He left for UT a few months later. The summer I graduated we went on a church choir trip to the '86 World's Fair in New Orleans.

He took 5 years to get his engineering degree and I took 3 years to get my education degree from Baylor.

He worked one year before we got married.

We dated for 6 years before we got married. Neither of us ever dated anyone else. We got married at my home church.

We spent our honeymoon in Hawaii. After we had been married for two years, we lost our first baby when I was 4 months pregnant. Taylor was born after we had been married for 4 years.

Trent was born 20 months later.

Trevor was born 2 1/2 years later.

Tatum was born 2 years after that.

We have lived in McAllen, Beaumont, Odessa, and Lake Jackson.

the Mall of AmericaWe have been to the Grand Turks, Austria, Germany, Switzerland, and Mexico. We have explored Arizona, Colorado, Utah, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Illinois, Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, Hawaii, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
