Christmas Eve Traditions

We have several Christmas Eve traditions. This year we went to my parent's new church for the Christmas Eve candle light service. We sang carols and observed the Lord's supper. On the way home, we look at Christmas lights. I loved the section on my parent's neighborhood that had nutcrackers.

We eat the same things every year. We have cheese and crackers, dips and chips, and lots of finger foods. Tatum's favorites are prickled okra and corn. Trent's favorite is shrimp and cocktail sauce. Trevor's favorite is tamales and queso.

Opening a family present from Grandpa & Grandma. We love our new soda maker.

We say "The Night Before Christmas" together and pass around presents every time we say "and". The first one to get their own present and calls it gets to open it. Then we all put on our
new pjs.
Playing dirty Santa. Dad loved his reindeer Pez dispenser. Trent wasn't as thrilled with his Robert Pierre CD. I happen to love it. Taylor was elated with her Jonus brother note pad.
