Happy Birthday, Lisa!

Lisa was born when I was almost nine. I had waited a long time for a sister. My mom wanted to name her Tina Marie, but she let me change her name to Lisa. I held her in my lap in the front seat of the car to bring her home from the hospital. She weighed over 9 pounds.

Most of these pictures I took of Lisa with my Polaroid camera. I was always making her pose for pictures. Maybe that is why I like blogging. This is Lisa with my beloved doll, Becky, sitting in the water bed we shared. She had her own room, but she slept with me from the time she could walk.
This is Lisa with our pet bunny, Snowflake. She was four and I wrote that the bunny was 4 months. Do you think I was a little upset when we had to eat it?

Lisa was a junior bridesmaid in my wedding. I was 21 and she was almost 13.I was matron of honor in Lisa and Eric's wedding. Taylor and Tatum were flower girls and Trent and Trevor were ring bearers.
I was there for the birth of both her children, Ethan and Austin. My sister has been a huge blessing in my life. I am glad she is my sister and grateful she is my friend.

I love you, Lisa!
