Taylor was 6 lbs. 2oz and 17 inches long when she was born a few days after her due date. When we brought her home she only weighed 5lbs. 4 oz. She was so tiny. She looked like a Madame Alexander Huggum's doll to me.
Taylor holding Tatum when they met for the first time. Taylor was six and had just started first grade when her sister was born. She was a proud big sister.

We always had elaborate birthday parties for her. It usually involved her dressing up as a princess. Cinderella came to her 3rd birthday party and my mom decorated a large box to look like a pumpkin coach.
Until we moved when she was four, Brianna was her best friends. She and Brianna loved dressing up.
Taylor is 15 months older than her cousin, Nicole. That is the same age difference as Russ and his brother and my nephews, Ethan and Austin. Courtney, Russell's cousin, Doug's daughter, is 15 months older than Taylor. Taylor usually gets to spend a week or two each summer with Nicole, Brianna, or Courtney.

Until Taylor was four, we had five generations on my mother's side. My great grandmother died at 97. My grandmother is 87 and my mom is 65.
Taylor has been skiing, to Disney world several times, to the Grand Canyon, and horse back riding in the mountains of Colorado. She took ballet for a couple of years. She was a munchkin in the Wisard of Oz.

Taylor was so excited about her first wink that she called her grandparents right away. She was aready a pro at using the phone.
Taylor does not like being the center of attention. She refused to go down the isle for my friend, Kim's, wedding. She does not like sports, either. When she played soccer in kindergarten she liked to pout and refused to kick the ball or run.
When Taylor was 1 1/2 she tripped and fell into the rocker. It sliced her nose apart and she had to get stitches. The paramedics thought I needed help because I was 9 months pregnant and had blood all over me. I got hold of a friend and she was able to drive us to the hospital.
It was tramatic for both of us.

I can't believe Taylor is 14! It seems like she was just a little baby I was toted around. She is so special and I love her very much!
Everyone in the pictures looks so young! You forgot to mention that she was your first child, the first grandchild, and the first great grandchild. Not and easy accomplishment.
